Vaginoplasty and Vaginal Tightening

Vaginoplasty or vaginal tightening are the names given to any surgery which constructs or reconstructs the vagina, which may be necessary for a wide variety of reasons, from natural changes caused by childbirth, ageing or weight loss, to the feelings of discomfort and unhappiness in your genitals appearance. Many of these reasons are deeply personal or unique to the individual, hence why we deliver a trusted service with an understanding and caring team, to help keep you at ease throughout your procedure and recovery.

Vaginoplasties and vaginal tightening procedures are performed to tighten and strengthen the vagina canal walls, which can become loose, stretched and weakened throughout the natural ageing process or due to less common but just as disruptive to everyday life, vaginal birth defects.

Here at MAS Gynaecology, we are committed to providing only the best cosmetic gynaecological treatment to our patients no matter what form of vaginal rejuvenation they require.

Vaginoplasty with Mr Masood..

“I was seeking a vaginoplasty surgery due to looseness after child birth.

I would definitely recommend this clinic. The premises are clean and felt reassuring. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and communication was open and discreet. It has only been a short time since my procedure and I hope to be as pleased with the results as I was with the whole experience.”

Vaginoplasty and Vaginal Tightening FAQs

Vaginoplasty or Vaginal Tightening is performed to strengthen and tighten the vagina walls and surrounding tissues which may have weakened due to things such as your age or because of a loosening that may have come as a result of vaginal birth.

Your surgery will either require a local or general anaesthetic before, in an hour-long procedure, your surgeon at MAS Gynaecology will shorten the stretched or weakened tissue and remove any excess tissue. This combination of procedures should decrease (or tighten) the vagina diameter.

Women will feel an immediate increase in confidence as well increased sexual functionality and a neater appearance could also be achieved as a result of excess tissue being removed.

Normally after undergoing Vaginoplasty or Vaginal Tightening surgery, your body will take around 3 weeks to recover. You can expect to comfortably return to normal sexual activity between a month and two months after your surgery.

If you are considering any form of vaginal rejuvenation surgery then the best course of action is to arrange for a consultation where our specialist gynaecologist can assess and discuss if you are a candidate for vaginoplasty. Normally, any healthy women without an existing medical condition or infection will be considered for surgery.
